Singer/songwriter Jesse McCartney brought his “Better With You Tour” to a sold-out crowd in Madison, WI last night. While it was a stormy and gloomy night outside the Majestic Theatre, the ‘Beautiful Soul’ heartthrob delivered the shine and energy for his Wisconsin fans, performing tracks new and old throughout the performance.

Kicking his performance off while proving he is a man of many talents with an upbeat solo on a synthesizer, McCartney instantly got the crowd nostalgic with tracks like ‘She’s No You’ and his 2008 hit ‘Leavin’. The ageless singer brought an impressive amount of energy to his show, show us all that he has not missed a beat since emerging in the early 2000s.

And although McCartney is best known for some of his classics from years ago, fans equally enjoyed his new tracks like ‘Wasted’ and ‘Better With You’, where the tour gets its name. The singer also made one fan’s night very special as he brought a lucky lady on stage for ‘The Stupid Things’. Although she was met with some jealously and a few boos (since she hails from the University of Iowa, a rival school), this made for a unique moment from the set.

After his main set was performance, an encore was inevitable as the crowd chanted “Jesse” throughout the theater. McCartney greeted his fans once again and performed a special encore performance of ‘Bleeding Love’, a track he penned for Leona Lewis, and of course his mega single, ‘Beautiful Soul’, capping an already great night.
