Singers Gallant and Andra Day have teamed up to record a beautiful cover of Smokey Robinson’s classic 1979 track, ‘Cruisin’. As part of his “In The Room” series, which has also featured Sufjan Stevens, Jack Garratt and Seal, Day and Gallant make for a beautiful pairing.
Currently on his U.S. tour, supporting the talented John Legend, the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriting is definitely an artist to watch, this year and next. Gallant’s cover with Day is just another showcase of his remarkable vocals.

Yesterday marked the seventh night ofSummerfest‘s 49th Anniversary celebration. Unlike many other premiere music festivals, Milwaukee’s lakeside festival, Summerfest, brings an especially diverse list of performers to Wisconsin every year. Tonight the World’s Largest Music Festival had some big names in music, including REO Speedwagon, X Ambassadors, Andra Day and more.

Next year, R&B’s breakthrough singer, Leon Bridges, will likely be in a city near you in support of his critically acclaimed album, Coming Home (check out our review here). Kicking off his 2016 tour on March 1st in Atlanta, GA, Leon Bridges will be hitting a number of cities throughout North America. And if one great artist was not enough, Andra Day will support Bridges on the tour from May 23rd until the tour comes to an end in Kentucky on June 9th.
