Just a few days away from the release of his highly anticipated debut album, The Bigger Artist, rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has released the official music video for his Kodak Black assisted single, ‘Drowning’.
As one of the bigger rap singles from the past summer, and one that helped put A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on a lot of rap fans’ radars, the visuals for ‘Drowning’ definitely do the track justice and have already amassed over 100,000 views in a few hours. And if you like what you hear, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie will be taking his new Atlantic Records LP on the road for his headlining tour.
Talib Kweli has recruited Rick Ross and Yummy Bingham for his new single and music video, for ‘Heads Up Eyes Open’. With visuals directed by SMITHHOUSE, Kweli’s new track is off his forthcoming Radio Silence project, which drops on November 17th on Kweli’s Javotti Media label.
Both the video and track touch on issues of media misrepresentation, police brutality and spirituality, which should come as no surprise as Kweli has always been one of the more vocal and political artists in rap. And in anticipation of Radio Silence, Talib is hitting the road this month and the next for a number of tour dates throughout the U.S. (dates below).

With one of the more unexpected, but entirely awesome, collaborations of the year, G-Eazy has recruited the pretty mother f*cker A$AP Rocky, and the hottest new artist in rap, Cardi B, for his new track ‘No Limit’.
‘No Limit’ has Rocky on the hook and hot verse from Cardi B as Young Gerald’s track also pays tribute to the Three Six Mafia’s classic 1999 record, ‘Slob On My Knob’. Although we’re not sure if ‘No Limit’ will get as much replay value as Juicy J’s classic track, we definitely wouldn’t bet against the trio of Cardi, G-Eazy and Rocky.

Telling The Fader earlier this year, the record is about “shyning on the people who were undeservingly handed a pedestal.” And with her EP coming soon, Dounia is looking to rise above everyone on the pedestal and make “Dounia” a household name in the R&B world.

Frank Ocean took to his blonded RADIO show on Sunday night, to share another new track. Titled ‘Provider’, the smooth track was just one of a couple new songs to debut on the program. Ocean also shared his version of 2 Chainz’ ‘Rolls Royce Bitch’.
After a huge drought of new music from the channel ORANGE singer, Ocean has continued to bless fans with new music in the past year. Let’s just hope that the momentum continues throughout the rest of the year and 2018.
Following its premiere on the MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor Swift shared the official music video for her new album’s debut single, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’.
Portraying many versions of the “old Taylor” throughout the new video, the music video pays homage to the singer’s looks throughout the years, including of course the VMAs Taylor, which was famously interrupted by Kanye West, the man who made the “tilted stage” that Taylor hates.
Swift’s new album, Reputation,is currently slated for a November 10th release, and we definitely like what we have heard and seen thus far.
