MSG got a bit nostalgic as Big Time Rush also took the stage, serving as the resident boyband for the evening. However, the evening took an unexpected turn just a day before with the unexpected cancelation of Nicki Minaj, arguably the lineups biggest headliner.

She expressed sincere apologies for not being able to perform, citing her excitement to see her Chicago fans and promising to make it up with details of her upcoming tour.
