The Rolling Stones have electrified the music scene with their announcement of the “Stones Tour 2024 Hackney Diamonds”, set to sweep across North America. This monumental tour, heralded by their critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated album “Hackney Diamonds”, marks their grand return to the stage following the massive success of their 2021 “No Filter” tour. The tour is scheduled to kick off on April 28, 2024, in Houston, Texas, and will travel through major cities including Las Vegas, Glendale, East Rutherford, Seattle, Foxboro, Orlando, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Denver, Chicago, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Santa Clara. Additionally, the Stones will grace the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival with a special performance on May 2.
“Hackney Diamonds”, their first album of original material since 2005’s “A Bigger Bang”, has already made waves in the music industry. The album not only claimed the top spot on the UK’s Official Albums Chart, tying with the likes of The Beatles, Robbie Williams, and Bruce Springsteen for 11 studio albums reaching Number 1, but also dominated the Official Vinyl Albums Chart. This 12-track masterpiece, with contributions from legendary figures like Paul McCartney and Elton John, showcases the undiminished prowess of the Stones. Late drummer Charlie Watts features on two tracks, adding a poignant touch to this landmark album.
As the Stones prepare to bring their unparalleled energy and a new stage design to North America, fans can anticipate a mix of their iconic hits like “Start Me Up”, “Gimme Shelter”, “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, “Satisfaction”, and fresh tracks from “Hackney Diamonds”. This tour, sponsored by AARP and promoted by AEG Presents’ Concerts West, promises to be a spectacular showcase of rock n’ roll history, cementing the Rolling Stones’ legacy as one of the world’s most iconic musical acts
