With non-stop winter storms and sub-zero temperatures, seasonal depression is at an all-time high in the Windy City, so what better excuse to get out of the house than some live music? Spring is just a couple months away, so to tide you over until the festival season there are a number of great performers coming to Chicago this week!
From country rising stars like Ryan Hurd and Walker Hayes to big rap names like Travis Scott and Wiz Khalifa, there is something for everyone in Chicago this week.

Ryan Hurd @ Joe’s on Weed Street (February 23rd)
Country music’s Ryan Hurd is making a visit to one of Chicago’s best places to catch a country concert, the beloved Joe’s On Weed Street. Enjoying the recent success of his new single “To A T”, which features background vocals from his talent wife, the lovely Maren Morris, Ryan Hurd is touring the country with his solo work after paying his dues and writing hits for some of country’s biggest stars (Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and more).
While he has penned tracks for some of you favorite country performers, you better believe that Hurd has saved some of his most personal and best records for himself. Kelly Clarkson @ Allstate Arena (February 22nd)
See Kelly Clarkson live and in person when you have the chance! Currently set to host her own daytime talk show, it’s unclear when you’ll have another opportunity to see Kelly Clarkson tour. Her voice is second to none and since winning American Idol, Clarkson is a household name with over a decade of hits. Travis Scott @ United Center (February 21st)
La Flame killed it in Chicago when his critically acclaimed Astroworld tour came to Chicago last year. But his Chicago fans didn’t have enough, so Travis Scott is returning to the United Center for the second leg of his tour. CNCO @ Rosemont Theatre (February 22nd)
Just a few days removed the release of their new single and music video for ‘Pretend’, the Latin American multiplatinum boy band CNCO is currently on their big headlining tour. Making their Chicago stop just outside the city limits at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont, IL, if boy bands is your cup of tea, then you need to get a refill at the Rosemont on February 22nd.

Wiz Khalifa @ House of Blues (February 19th)
Travis Scott isn’t the only big name rapper coming to Chicago this week. Just a few days before Travis invades the United Center, rap veteran Wiz Khalifa will take his headlining tour to the Chicago House of Blues. Wiz always delivers and the House of Blues is one of the best places to catch a concert in the city, so if you skip out on this you, you’ll surely be missing out.
Walker Hayes @ Joe’s Live (February 22nd)
Not to be confused with Joe’s On Weed Street, Joe’s Live in Rosemont will also be hosting a great country performance this week as ‘Beer In The Fridge’ singer Walker Hayes is paying a visit to the venue.
