Vince Staples took to Instagram today to share the cover art and release date for his forthcoming album. Titled Big Fish Theory, Vince Staples’ sophomore LP and the follow up to his critically acclaimed full debut, Summertime ’06, will release within the week on May 19th at 12:00AM.
Not only did the ‘Blue Suede’ rapper share the album’s official release date, but Staples also shared the LP’s official artwork. Keeping it simple, Big Fish Theory, displays a gold fish in its bowl. Speaking to Complex on the new album, Staples shared that “(the album) encompasses things, being larger than life in a smaller world, so to say. How rappers are perceived and perceive themselves.”
