Kash – Right Back
Whip! Dab! Whip! Dab! Miami rapper Kash has recently released his debut EP The Takeover, available on DatPiff, and Right Back is definitely a highlight. Produced by Go Grizzly, known for his productions with Atlanta’s Rich Kidz among others, Kash definitely lets his autotune cash anthem lyrics run wild on this. Listen below, and check out the rest of the EP.
Liskka – Keep Me Awake
With an almost orchestral background to this track, London (bup bup LDN!!!!)’s own Liskka mixes drum loops, funky kicks, punchy snares and smooth lyrical content provided by a wonderful vocalist, which then transcends into its own world of danceable verses, which can be enjoyed by anyone. I can’t even pinpoint a genre for this. Listen below, and if you’re in London, they’re playing a gig soon. Peep the Twitter.
LeRiche – Rain
Canadian singer-songwriter-person LeRiche‘s debut release is a track entitled ‘Rain’, which mixes a field recording of rain (I love it already!) with some incredibly well-played guitar for him to lay some poppy vocals over, before bringing it all together with some strings for a wonderful chorus, in which his true vocal ability is displayed. One for the rainy days.
