Fleurie – Fire In My Bones
Summer has ended, and what better way to kick off the fall (or autumn, even) with some elctro-pop? Nashville-based artist Fleurie‘s ‘Fire In My Bones’ starts off with some electric piano (at least, that’s what it sounds like), before breaking into a paced verse, accompanied by tom hits, before it explodes into a synthy chorus, blending all sorts of sounds together, with tons of emotion. This follows throughout the rest of the track. Very motivational. Listen to the rest of her Arrows EP, including this track below.
Charity – Beautiful Moments
This one is different. Soulful happiness from Detroit singer Charity, in the form of ‘Beautiful Moments’. Featuring a cross of Soul and almost country music, Charity sings about how the ‘beautiful moments’ (get it?) that she’s shared with the person in her life. Reminds me of the person in my life. My favorite part is the harmonising in the final chorus and outro. Very nice. Stream the track below, and be sure to check out her Yellow EP when it drops on September 18th.

Soshu – Summit View
East coast poducer Soshu‘s ‘Voyage’ album is nine tracks of relaxing, electronic-infused hip hop, with a couple of vocal tracks, but this one in particular has been my favorite upon first listen. ‘Summit View’ is almost a timelapsing song, complete with synth stabs, organs, perfect percussion and great arrangements. Definitely something I haven’t heard before. Take a listen to the track, as well as the rest of the ‘Voyage’ album down below.
