‘Submission Showcase’ is a weekly column where we go through songs submitted to us and showcase the best ones. If you’d like to submit music to us, find out how to here.

Meek Mill & Drake – R.I.C.O. (XVII Remix)

LA-based trap producer XVII’s decision to remix Meek Mill’s ‘R.I.C.O.’ was definitely a good one. This 120BPM banger takes both verses and adds tons of bounce to them, seperating them both with an explosive 808-filled drop, reminiscent of something from TNGHT or ƱZ. A real head-bobber. Or bouncer, whichever you prefer. Listen below, and check out more of XVII’s tracks on his Soundcloud.

Drishti Beats – Time Flies

This one is very interesting. Music production group Drishti Beats‘ new single ‘Time Flies’ is quite literally a yoga soundtrack. Featuring a mix of rap drums and lounge music saxophone, as well as some nice female vocals here and there, Drishti really come together to provide an upbeat and almost spiritual soundtrack for your next yoga session.

James Lewis – Goddess

ATL/Grand Rapids rapper James Lewis’ new track’Goddess’ is insanely good. Starting off as a slow, relaxed RnB type track, it speeds into an almost whole new track, with Lewis spitting over a drum break for a quick verse, before transitioning back into a slowed rap track. A pretty great 2 and a half minutes, if I may say so myself.
