The Switch – We’re Fooling No One
Norweigan folk-pop band The Switch‘s new single ‘We’re Fooling No One’, from the EP of the same name, which is due out on July 3rd, sounds amazing. It goes from a sweet, acoustic folk song into a full-band jam session in the space of 2 minutes. This might be the first song I’ve ever heard that actually switches genres halfway through. Listen below, and be sure to check out the EP, as well as the rest of their catalog if you like it.
Mhoo – Us Against The World
Norweigan folk group (again!) Mhoo‘s ‘Us Against The World’ could simply be described as the type of music you hear in a commercial about families. It’s a song full of love and happiness, and right now it makes me want to run through a field, living life to the fullest. Check it out below.
JoeyAich & Alzeus – Earlybird
Okay, back to music I can actually describe! Joey Aich (Who I believe is a rapper from Ohio) collaborates with producer Alzeus (pronounced Al-Zeus?) on ‘Earlybird’, a single from what I believe to be their collaborative EP, ‘AcapulcoGold’, which is due to be released at some point. The instrumental is fire, featuring a nice jazz saxophone loop, which Joey attacks with some sweet verses and a nice (now stuck in my head) hook. A dope track altogether.
