Maine Event x R.O.D. – My Way (BC-Mix)
Okay, so before anyone accuses us of having a bias towards Maine Event and the Black Congress Music Group, we don’t. They’re just really good at what they do and make music I enjoy! This time, Maine teams up with labelmate R.O.D. for this BC-Mix (Get it?) of Fetty Wap’s instant classic single, ‘My Way’. Ahhhh the original went off in the club last week, and this goes off too! Maine and R.O.D. both ride the beat so well, with typical, A+ BCMG lyrical content. Definitely check this one out. March Madness BC-Mix next, guys?!
Chri$ Born – Hell Tonight
Detroit-based rapper and producer Chri$ Born is back again with another single, this time in the form of ‘Hell Tonight’. Self-produced in a similar style to that of 808 Mafia, Chris uses his lyrical ability to rap about, literally ‘raising hell’, with his crew and girls, ‘running through your city’. Listen to this banger below. And Chris, release a mixtape!
Vague Grey – What It Isn’t [Prod. By YLS]
Imagine if How To Dress Well rapped. It’s kinda similar to the sounds of Vague Grey, a rapper from NY. Produced by YLS, ‘What It Isn’t’ is a very dope track. I’m not too sure what to say as I’m still thinking about these lyrics: ‘What’s worse than death? Have you tried life?’. Very deep! The beat is fire too. Take a listen and check out his other tracks on YouTube.
