Honey Butter – Times (Feat. Chris Savor)
Another non-rap submission, this time in the form of what could only be described as ‘Electronic Soul’. Los Angeles-based artist Honey Butter teams up with singer-songwriter/producer Chris Savor for ‘Times’, a track about lost love that sounds almost like something by How To Dress Well. Check it out.

Taxi Taxi – Going Out For The Light
Uh, okay. Swedish twins-that-don’t-look-like-twins-but-kinda-do Taxi Taxi‘s ‘Going Out For The Light’ sounds like a lofi, indie, electronic love song. I’m pretty sure there’s tons of different words to describe it, but it’s very, very nice. They have nice voices too! Take a listen below, and look out for their currenty untitled new album, coming out this summer.
David Ahlen – Jesuselectricity
I don’t think I can get away with describing this as “acoustic-sadness”, but I can try. Swedish (wow, two Swedish submissions today? Cool!) singer-songwriter/father-of-five David Ahlen‘s ‘Jesuselectricity’, off his album Selah, which was released in 2013, is really, really sad. It has that vibe about it. It makes me want to go and propose to someone on a first date. I don’t know. But yeah, listen to it here, and also check out his track ‘On The Verge’ below! And try not to feel sad!
