Marcus Salas – Movements (feat. Will C. & Faybo LeFreshy)/Why Bother
Double tracks have become quite popular in recent history, with Drake’s ‘0-100/The Catch Up’ setting a trend on extending songs past their usual end times. This is even our second double (well, the email said triple) track that has been send to us. Marcus Salas’ ‘Movements/Why Bother’ is one of these, clocking in at 8 minutes and 12 seconds in length. Featuring some dope guest verses and an overall laid-back vibe on the production, this is one to look out for. Marcus’ new album Boxing Day drops this Friday.
832 – Burn
Brother-rap duo 832 are somewhat underground, but this new single, ‘Burn’ is quite a unique track that will hopefully get them a little buzz. The hook is pure fire, and the whole track flows so nicely over the smooth production. Look out for more from these two soon, and stream their new album The Rap-ture in full on Bandcamp now.
O Da Kidd – Working [Prod. By Bushman Beats]
St. Louis-based artist O Da Kidd is definitely ‘Working’ with this single off his forthcoming mixtape Different Breed which will be executively produced by myself (Bushman Beats). Download his mixtape Long Live The Real here and look out for Different Breed coming soon.
