Neil Dube – Numeri 08 (Closing)
Sheffield, UK-based composer Neil Dube‘s closing piece for the short film ‘Numeri’ is definitely a sad one. Pianos come together to create a piece that reminds me of something Tom LoMacchio would make. There’s also an accordion/violin sounding instrument in there too. Overall, it’s a great piece. Raw Thought$ – Nikes On My Feet (Feat. Kiss)
Raw Thought$‘ new throwaway, Nikes On My Feet, featuring fellow rapper Kiss is a track that definitely brings back the vibe of the old school. The soulful 90s beat is complimented by some great verses and a resampled hook. Some great punchlines too.

King Z – Slow It Down [Prod. By Chris McClenney]
Maryland rapper King Z’s fresh new cut, Slow It Down, produced by Chris McClenney, is slow R’n’B jam, with autotune all over it, but it does sound great. Some really nice downpitched background vocals which sounds great, as it isn’t too loud. A great track altogether.

Chuckie Campbell – All I Meant (Feat. Cole Jonique)
Buffalo, NY-native Chuckie Campbell’s All I Meant, produced by Willie Breeding is sort of a love-rap song. Featuring a funky drum pattern and some R’n’B piano chords, featured artist Cole Jonique provides a soulful-sounding hook to accompany Chuckie’s truthful verses about love and what makes a relationship last. There are also some live drum parts which really make this track stand out.
KIN Bishop – Fu*ked up [Prod. By Grand Kaiser]
KIN Bishop, another Maryland native, provides us with this Grand Kaiser-produced cut, Fu*ked up. The unique production is accompanied by Bishop’s verses about being f’d up, people having you f’d up, and almost everything inbetween. A great submission altogether as well as some great verses.
