The best and brightest of this past week in music, as well as a throwback track! Hopefully you can bump these on the way to work to brighten up your Monday mornings!

This is my personal favorite of Travi$ Scott’s recently released mixtape Days Before Rodeo. It is very chill and features uncredited vocals from the amazing James Fauntleroy

This is the latest drop from Chris Brown is off his upcoming album, very dope track that mixes EDM and classic Breezy R&B. This will for sure be all over the radio in the near future

Very political track from a normally unpolitical artist, but powerful nonetheless. Look for T.I.’s Paperwork to drop by the end of 2014

Extremely dope track from Strange Music artist Rittz; tackles the issue of trying to being taken seriously as a white rapper in the hip hop game

More fire flames here from Ariana Grande who seems incapable of making a bad song as her and Abel croon over a more upbeat beat than we’re used to hearing the Weeknd over but it still sounds amazing. Definitely check out Ariana’s sophomore effort My Everything

This is a much more ratchet song than the other Travi$ Scott song I posted above. Migos, Travi$, and Peewee Longway rap about getting dome from all types of chicks

Another week, another solid release from Jeezy. He keeps killin it and Seen It All is really shaping up to be a very solid album. Look for that to drop September 2nd

This is arguably hip hop’s greatest love song, and it’s by the legend himself: Common
