Cam, The Chef – Two Hour Showers
Attacking a self-produced, game-boy inspired beat, with a poetic flow, and two verses seperated by voice clips from local news, California based rapper Cam, The Chef literally goes in. With great punchlines and a beat-switch for an outro, this might be one of the most experimentally coolest tracks I’ve heard from these submissions. Take a listen below, and try not to bob your head too much.

BECOME x NoMBe – Miss Mirage
The LA-based Electronic-something collective known as BECOME returns to our submission showcase with another collaboration, this time with NoMBe, for ‘Miss Mirage’, an experimental track, which transitions from slow buildups and hooks into a relaxed, almost electro-pop like drop, reminding listeners of the summer. Which it currently isn’t here in London. Anyway, check the track out below, and look out for more releases from this group soon.
Tay Madi$on – Pure Diamonds
Produced by Oh Genius, Paterson, NJ (No, she’s not Fetty Wap) singer Tay Madi$on‘s ‘Pure Diamonds’ is a super slow RnB track, with some super passionate verses, and an emotional hook. Not to mention the greaaaaaaaat (see, extended ‘great’ for effect) singing, whch I can’t seem to describe for some reason. Definitely one for those late-night making out sessions. Listen below.
