In 2011, rappers Das Racist came out of nowhere and instantly made a name for themselves in the New York rap scene. Although the group has since parted ways, their music lives on and now Das Racist founder Heems is pursuing a solo career. To kick off his solo work, Heems will be releasing his debut LP titled Eat, Pray, Thug, which is set for a March 10th release.

Expect great things for this album as this politically charged project has production from Harry Fraud, Gordon Voidwell, Boody B and more. The album is being described as Heems’ 808s & Heartbreak, and if this holds true then it will definitely be worth checking out in March. Check out the first single  “Sometimes” from the forthcoming LP.
