During an interview with Sway (Shade 45), producer/DJ Million Dollar Mano opened up about being dropped by Kanye West, as Kanye’s touring DJ. While Mano had nothing but good things to say about Kanye, he did take time to share his thoughts about why his termination received attention from blogs, indirectly blaming things on the Kanye fan forum KanyeToThe.com.
“They (media) was trying to make me a distraction from Ferguson, that’s what happened to me that day. And they were trying to get two black men’s egos involved on the internet and I wasn’t having it. And it all came from trolls from a website that I’m not even going to name because I’m not going to make these people famous.” – Mano
While Mano did not name KanyeToThe directly, there is a documented dislike between the forum and Mano. One KanyeToThe user’s video even was circulated around various blogs after Mano’s termination, which contained a compilation of Kanye yelling a Mano while performing on tour. It was certainly good to hear Mano say good things about Ye, but blaming things on a fan forum and saying it was a distraction from the racial tension and police brutality in Ferguson, MO is quite the conspiracy to say the least.
