Rapper Freddie Gibbs says he was targeted during a shooting in Brooklyn, NY last night.

“They tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me.”

The gunman was caught on video, by the Rough Trade record score (where Gibbs performed), trying to blend into Gibbs’ entourage while his crew was hanging out inside the club, said police. No word on why Gibbs specifically was targeted, but rap beef was hinted by Gibbs, explaining ““I’m Freddie Gibbs, they tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me.”
