A month ago, Power 105.1 stole rival radio station Hot 97’s ‘voice of New York’, Angie Martinez. Today, Hot 97 may have one-upped their competitor.

In a very sneaky move, Hot 97 (Funkmaster Flex, Pete Rosenberg, Ebro) bought the web domain for Power1051.com, forcing Power 105.1 (home to Charlamagne Tha God) to use the Power1051fm.com domain. In fact, traveling to the new domain even directs you to Hot 97’s website. Well played Hot 97, you may have lost the battle for Angie Martinez (as cash is king), but showing such a sense of humor (in a very petty way) may win you the war.
