Months after Lorde performed along side members of Nirvana at their Rock & Rock Hall of Fame induction in April, she has finally responded to comments made by female rapper and singer Iggy Azalea.

In reference to Azelea’s criticism, saying that Lorde was not a proper choice for the tribute because she is not a peer of Kurt Cobain, the “Royals” singer, according to Pitchfork, told Melboune’s Herald Sun that “I had a good time. And that’s all that matters.” A young artist who has not by shy about letting other artists have it, it is good to see the young singer take the high road this time.
