Off her forthcoming and highly anticipated LP, Lana Del Rey has released her official music video for her upcoming album’s title track and The Weeknd collaboration, ‘Lust For Life’. With vintage filmed visuals, where Lana and Abel sit atop Los Angeles’ famous Hollywood Sign, ‘Lust For Life’ is a great taste of what’s to expect from Lana’s upcoming efforts.

Although Lust For Life was originally expected for a May 26th release, via Interscope, fans may have to wait until later in the summer. However the album is still expected to release this summer, and if fans are lucky, with a headlining tour to soon follow.

Watch: Katy Perry Performs “Bon Appétit” with Migos and “Swish Swish” on Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live concluded its 42nd season with a big finale last night, hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Katy Perry stole the show with her performances of ‘Bon Appétit’ with the Migos and her new (rumored) Taylor Swift diss track, ‘Swiss Swiss’.

As a self-diagnosed “details freak”, Perry definitely didn’t go with a traditional SNL performance with the famous Grand Central backdrop, rather Perry laid across a huge table of fruit with the Migos for ‘Bon Appétit’ and sang on a runway filled with drag queens and “backpack kid” for ‘Swish Swish’.

Watch Perry’s Saturday Night Live performances of ‘Bon Appétit’ and ‘Swish Swish’ below.

New Music: Katy Perry Drops New Nicki Minaj-Assisted Single “Swish Swish”

BY TER STAFF

Katy Perry has responded to Taylor Swift’s (rumored) diss track, ‘Bad Blood, with one of her own… at least that’s what everyone is speculating. Titled ‘Swish Swish’ and featuring Young Money’s Nicki Minaj, according to many, Perry’s new track takes aim at Swift and Remy Ma (through Nicki’s verse), but don’t expect Perry to confirm that directly. But if the shoe fits, right?

“A tiger, don’t lose no sleep, don’t need opinions, from a shellfish or a sheep”.

While the ‘Roar’ singer is “the tiger” in the lyrics, many believe the sheep represents Swift, as Perry famously tweeted out “Watch out for a sheep in Regina George’s clothing”, a Mean Girls reference that many believed was aimed at T-Swift, when their rivalry was at its peak. We may never received an exact confirmation, but it will certainly be interesting to see if Taylor Swift responds.

Stream ‘Swish Swish’ below and check out the dates for Katy Perry’s forthcoming headlining tour.

Photos: Ruth B Brings Her Headlining Tour to S.P.A.C.E. in Evanston

Canadian singer and songwriter, Ruth B, brought her headlining tour to S.P.A.C.E. in Evanston, IL last night, hitting the road in support of her brand new debut LP, Safe Haven. Performing tracks from her new album for her Chicago-area fans, Ruth B, has impressed us ever since her performance at the Chicago Theatre last year with Alessia Cara, and tonight was no exception.

What’s perhaps most impressive about Ruth B is her writing, which says a lot since she kills it on the piano and her voice is candy for your ears. Since Ruth emerged into the pop music scene with her hit single ‘Lost Boy’, she has been prepping for the release of her new album, which Ruth wrote and composed all 12 tracks herself, along with producers Joel Little and Mike Elizondo.

While keeping fans engaged throughout the performance, highlights of Ruth’s set included her performances of ‘Superficial Love’ and her newest single ‘If This is Love’, and of course ‘Lost Boy’, which her fans sang with her from start to finish.

Bringing her headlining tour to one of the more unrepresented cities in the Chicago area, fans were treated to an intimate performance with a rising star. Evidenced by her songwriting and production, Ruth B has a connection to her music that most pop artists aren’t able to match, and her audience gets to benefit as a result.

Check out our photos from Ruth B’s performance below, and peep the singer’s remaining tour dates here.

Last night, English alt-rock band, The 1975, brought their big headlining North American tour to Milwaukee, WI. Returning The Rave for another sold-out performance, this time Matthew Healey and company were joined by Colouring and Pale Waves who both delivered great opening performances which set the tone for the rest of the night.

The 1975 opened the night with their self-titled and opening track from the band’s most recent LP, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It, an album the band has been consistently touring in support of since its 2016 release. The ‘Somebody Else’ group continued with the album’s next tracks, ‘Love Me’ and ‘UGH!’, the first two singles from the acclaimed project. The night wasn’t all about The 1975’s sophomore album though, as the Manchester natives also performed a number of singles and fan favorites from their 2013 debut.

While the performance was memorable from start to finish, personal highlights from the night include the band’s performances of ‘Girls’ and ‘Somebody Else’. And with a sold-out crowd desperately wanting more, even after a 17-song set, Matt Healey and his band returned to the stage for an encore performance of ‘If I Believe You’, ‘The Sound’ and of course ‘Chocolate’, a track which the night wouldn’t have been complete without.

With a total of 20 songs performed for their Wisconsin fans, the night was complete, and fans left with instant memories of a performance that they will not soon forget.

Check out our photos from The 1975’s performance below and check out their current tour dates here.
